Review of the Only Range Rover Evoque Convertible in Pakistan

The Range Rover Evoque is a luxurious convertible SUV coupe introduced by the British carmaker Land Rover in 2016. However, it struggled to gain popularity and was discontinued in 2019 due to mixed reviews. It presented a unique blend of SUV and crossover concepts.

Engine and Performance
The Range Rover Evoque was equipped with a 2-liter, 4-cylinder, turbo gasoline engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, delivering 240 hp. Its All-Wheel Drive had a moderate acceleration, taking 8.1 seconds to reach 0 to 60 mph, slower than its rival, the Porsche Macan. In our review of the HSE Si4 model with 1000 km mileage, the fuel efficiency was 10 km/L in the city and 12 km/L on highways, reaching a top speed of 120 km/hr.

Range Rover Evoque Convertible – Highlights
Primarily, it’s a leisure vehicle ideal for relaxed Sunday drives or romantic getaways. It offers excellent views with its upright styling and a retractable roof for sunny days and cozy evenings.

The interior boasts Land Rover’s signature luxurious upholstery, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, JLR infotainment system, compact information cluster panel, heated seats with memory function, rear AC vents, terrain control, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Assist, and Meridian speakers.

Its 21-inch multi-spoke wheels provide stability on rough terrains, complemented by convenient pedal shifters and a glossy gear knob on the console.

Downsides of Evoque
While visually appealing, the Evoque Convertible sacrifices practicality for style. It suffers from sluggish acceleration, heavy body, cramped seating, and inadequate lighting. The trunk space is limited, accommodating only two suitcases. Nevertheless, if you seek a head-turning vehicle for your next journey, you can explore this convertible on our website, available at a price close to 5 crores.
