New Regulations for Vehicle Registration Are Introduced

The ICT administration has introduced new laws that are found to be stricter in terms of registration of vehicle numbers and the use of number plates to enhance the notion of ease as well as ensure that everyone follows the former rule.

Heading this cause, the Excise & Taxation (E&T) department is now concentrating on implementing these new laws that will positively impact vehicle owners in the city. In relation to the details of the new rules a notable point is the zero tolerance to Non Standard Number Plates. Cars belonging to these plates may be dealt a blow by the authorities by having their registration numbers cancelled and for the owner to change this, he or she has to part with a lot of cash.
