IMC Unveils the Latest Toyota Land Cruiser Prado in Pakistan
Indus Motor Company (IMC) has introduced the all-new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado in Pakistan. Named the Prado 250, this SUV arrives as a CBU import with two variants: a 2.7L petrol engine and a 2.8L diesel engine.
The latest Prado model debuted last year in North American markets and was recently launched in Japan as the Land Cruiser 250, omitting the Prado name. However, for the Pakistani market, it retains the Prado branding, suffixed with 250.

Under the hood, the engine lineup mirrors that of the Japanese market. The 2.8L 1GD-FTV turbodiesel engine produces 203 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The other option is the 2.7L 2TR-FE petrol engine, delivering 162 horsepower and 246 Nm of torque, coupled with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Exterior features include auto-leveling LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, LED DRLs, LED rear combination lamps, auto retracting side mirrors (with memory, lamp, and camera functions in the top-spec diesel variant), chromic front grille (exclusive to diesel variant), time-adjusted windshield wipers, and chrome garnishing (available only in diesel variant).

Interior highlights encompass an 8-way driver and 4-way front passenger seat adjustment (6-way and 4-way in petrol variant respectively), multi-way peripheral camera monitoring (exclusive to diesel), dual-zone automatic climate control (manual single zone in petrol), rear row auto AC (exclusive to diesel), leather seats (fabric in petrol) with ventilated and heated options (exclusive to diesel), integrated sports driving mode with 5 variations (exclusive to diesel), 12-inch audio system (8-inch in petrol), 10 speakers (8 in petrol), USB and HDMI connectivity (only USB in petrol), leather shift knob (PVC in petrol), leather steering (urethane in petrol), illuminated entry system, rear console box in petrol, and fridge in diesel variant.

Safety features include 6 airbags (front, side, knee, curtain), ABS with EBD, Vehicle Stability Control with Crawl mode, Multi-terrain select, Dynamic Stability Control in diesel, and Active Stability Control in petrol variants), ISOFIX child seat anchorage, and seatbelt warning system.

The pricing for the all-new Prado in Pakistan starts at Rs 66,600,000 for the 2.7L Petrol variant, while the top-spec Diesel variant is priced at Rs 75,550,000.
