Alto plan to lower its prices in the upcoming years
Following Mehran, Alto has emerged as one of the most preferred cars among the people particularly those who are interested in cars with low prices but high milage. Adding to this fact, Suzuki Motor from Japan has recently declared that they have targeted to shed about 15% of the weight of their hatchback cars by the next decade.
Let’s break it down in simpler terms: the Alto which is now weighing 680kg, has plans for a weight loss program that will shed 100 kilos. This weight loss is not just an aspect of making the car lighter: that is not the sole purpose of weight loss. Thus, through proper use of light materials, Suzuki seeks to increase energy efficiency and performance of the vehicles. this implies a given company which may be dealing in electric cars, they can use small batteries and motors which is good for cost cutting.

In an interview with Tatsuya Matsushita, the Suzuki’s executive, he said that electric vehicles that have a higher weight imply the need for larger battery and motor to offer longer range and better output. That way, it is possible to employ less massive, yet more efficient components; and the consumer saves money, as well as the environment does not suffer.
In the future, Suzuki’s plan of action involves producing great efficient electric new cars and hybrid cars that will fit into the demands and environments of various regions of the globe and/or countries. They are also progressing in the conventional car technology such as the Z12E engine for gasoline and cars, while they are also actively developing an affordable software for the electric automobiles.
To keep with cost control regulations, Suzuki is willing to share the same hardware in multi car models and recurrent the use of software which help Reduce the time of development and therefore lowering the costs.
In conclusion, this paper demonstrates that Suzuki is dedicated improving the ecological efficiency of cars, besides accelerating their performance and making them more affordable to the consumer in the global market.
